2008 OUTDOOR SOCCER Monday May 12: Please proceed to your scheduled field. The coaches/referees will determine if the game needs to be cancelled due to the weather conditions.

Late registration can now only be filed at the Soccer office with a $10 late fee per registration. The Outdoor season runs for eight weeks beginning the week of April 28th - May 2nd.

17th ANNUAL RED DEER COMMUNITY SPORT BANQUET The Sport Award Banquet was held on Sunday, February 24th at the Royal Canadian Legion. Red Deer City Soccer Association's nomination for the Sport Volunteer Award of Merit was Joey Mitchell.
"Joey has been involved with soccer in Red Deer for the past 19 years. He has coached both boys and girls at the House League level, and girls at the competitive level, as well as adult teams, has been on the Board of Directors for Red Deer City Soccer Association, and continues to referee the game as well. Joey continues to lead by example, showing respect to players, parents, coaches, and all involved in the game of soccer. He is a tireless volunteer and with his knowledge of the game, he has had a great impact on many players, coaches, and officials. Red Deer City Soccer Association is very thankful and appreciative of leaders like Joey and would like to thank him with this honor. Thank you, Joey!"
Joey was a recipient of another award as well. Joey received the award for the "Volunteer Sport Administrator Award.
The Investors Group National Volunteer Sport Administrator Award has been presented to volunteer sport administrators for the past 16 years. The award recognizes the contribution of the community sport programs made by dedicated volunteers who give their time to enable coaches and athletes to enjoy the benefits of well-organized sport. “Volunteers are the lifeblood of a healthy, active, and growing community,” says Richard Irish, assistant vice-president, Community Affairs and Area Marketing. “Investors Group is committed to working with communities to assist volunteers and worthwhile organizations as they undertake important local projects.

NEW COMPETITIVE CLUB RDCSA welcomes the new competitive club "Red Deer United Football Club" as an associate member of District #18. Click on the tab on the left hand column for their website.
For the 2008 Outdoor season, the club will have competitive youth teams and are only eligible to apply for the Tier 3 Provincial Declarations.

2. Players Complete Address (inc postal code)
3. Players phone number
4. Players date of birth
5. Team playing for including the district this team competes in
Please be advised that effective immediately, all district releases (excluding CASA) need to pay $25 prior to release being signed. Cheques for payment are to go to Red Deer City Soccer Association.
